It is best to use not greenhouse petals, but wild rose petals for water procedures. Make sure that they were not treated with harmful compounds for the skin.

Fill the bathtub with not too hot water and place the ingredients in it according to the recipe, one of which will be rose petals.

To the roses can be added:

  • Rose oil. It prevents the appearance of tightness and dryness of the skin after the procedure.
  • A liter of milk to enhance the effect.
  • Other flowers, such as rose hips, peonies, jasmine.

Recipes

The following is a good way to make a bath with rose petals, but the basic one is as follows: A glass of rose petals should be filled with boiling water and covered tightly, leaving for half an hour, then pour into the bath, in which the water is set at a comfortable temperature for you.

Other recipes require more effort, but are more effective and long-lasting results:

  1. Bath with rose petals and oatmeal. Take 1 cup each of oatmeal/cereal and dried petals. You will also need a cup of sea salt, to which add aroma oils of rose, as well as lavender (take up to 12 drops each). Mixing these components and placing in a small linen bag 2-3 spoons of the resulting mixture, drop the bag for ten minutes in hot enough water. Then change the temperature of the water in the bathtub so that it becomes comfortable for you, and then take a bath for about twenty minutes. This bath has a very strong anti-stress and relaxing effect. It also helps to eliminate redness and make the skin more velvety and elastic.
  2. Cleopatra bath in which rose petals are added. This treatment will make your skin even silkier, more fragrant, velvety, brighter and more attractive. Pour half a cup of rose petals in hot water, pour the infused petals into the tub, add honey (a few spoons will suffice) and milk (1 liter). You can also add sea salt (up to 450 grams), if your skin is not dry and also if it is not damaged. Take this bath for up to twenty minutes. If you add salt, at the end of the procedure use body cream or milk.
  3. You can make your own hands bath salt based on rose petals. Take the petals of four or five roses and 200 grams of coarse salt, mix, pour into a jar and close tightly. Keep in a warm place for two weeks so that all the fragrant substances from the petals will soak in the salt. Add to the bath 4-6 tablespoons of such salt, pre-mixing this amount in a liter of water.

How to Take

Lie in a bath with rose petals is recommended for 10-20 minutes. Listen to your own body - it will tell you when the procedure should be completed.

Have fun:

  1. Put on some pleasant music, close your eyes and imagine that you are in an expensive chic spa. Think about how healthy and beautiful you are - this kind of psychotherapy will only increase the benefits of the rose bath.
  2. Periodically stroke your skin during the procedure, using a sponge or a special glove. The stroking force is your choice - hard or soft.
  3. At the end of the procedure there should be no hurry - slowly get up, rinse under the shower, wrap up in a soft towel or robe and rest in bed (if you want to fall asleep, do not resist).

Useful Tips

You can use both fresh and dried petals. In the second case, less raw material is required.

To dry rose petals, you can use a microwave oven - put them in the microwave for 2-3 minutes, setting the temperature to low. Check the petals - if they are not yet dried, all the steps need to be repeated.

Bath with Dried Rose Petals

You can also dry the petals between two towels, but you need to put something heavy on top that acts as a press (a jar filled with water or books).

Dried rose petals

For maximum effectiveness of the procedure and to get full satisfaction from it, follow these tips:

  • Take a bath with rose petals no more than once a week.
  • Try not to be distracted by any noise or irritant during the procedure (for example, you should turn off the phone). If you have just eaten, you should wait a little before taking the bath, but it is not recommended to take the procedure when you are hungry either.
  • You can create your own recipes by adding aromatic oils to the rose bath. But do not exceed the number of drops of oils (optimally up to 10 drops), and if you want to soak in a bath with roses long enough, add up to 3 drops or use an aroma lamp.
  • For more aesthetic pleasure, leave some petals to decorate the surface of the water, light candles or dim the lights. Well, the invitation to bathe your favorite man will only multiply the effectiveness of such a bath.
