Then Candido Iacuzzi decided to equip the tub with an aeration pump that would allow the body to be massaged by a jet of water and air mixture. Subsequently, the Jacuzzi was refined and improved several times. The Jacuzzi family took out around 250 patents relating to Jacuzzis. Thanks to their inventiveness, the world got one of the best kinds of baths, combining in equal measure the pleasant and the useful.

Once thought that only very wealthy people can afford to install a Jacuzzi, but modern manufacturing technology and materials have made Jacuzzi available to all comers.

This question is of interest to many people. It is often believed that a Jacuzzi must be "recessed" into the floor covering, but a whirlpool bath - no.

In fact, the answer to this question is quite simple: a Jacuzzi does not differ from a whirlpool bath, including the method of installation.

The best massage results can be achieved with a compressor, forcing air into the jets. This increases the pressure of the air-water flow, which can go up to 70 cm, without losing massaging power.

When choosing a Jacuzzi, special attention should be paid to the condition and quality of the compressor and pump. Any damage to the housing or faulty assembly can cause an electric shock (!).

Jacuzzi jets are divided into 3 types based on the type of flow:

1. Hydromassage .. Water is applied through small holes.
2. Aeromassage .. Same principle, but a compressor pumps air that flows through the holes in the nozzle and into the tub in a stream of fine bubbles.
3. Combined. When both water flow and air flow are delivered through a single nozzle.

The design of the nozzle depends on the type of directional flow of water, with what head it will be delivered and at what angle. Each manufacturer of Jacuzzi baths has up to a few dozen different designs of nozzles. For example, in addition to the standard sprayers, connected to a system of nozzles and a pump, there are models that independently take water directly from the tub and immediately eject it in a dynamic stream.

Depending on the area to be hydromassaged, the nozzles have different sizes. Larger nozzles are installed for the back and hips, smaller nozzles are installed in the neck and foot areas.

The simplest nozzles provide a direct emission of flow. There are also modern models, which are made rotary and allow you to change the direction of air and water jets. Some companies have developed nozzles that create a swirling mixture of water and air, which increases the massage characteristics of the hot tub.

Jacuzzi nozzles can be made of plastic or metal. The choice of material rather depends on your preferences than on the strength characteristics. But plastic jets still have a number of advantages:

• They are not susceptible to corrosion. If you do choose metal nozzles, let them be brass
• Plastic does not conduct electricity. This quality is especially relevant for acrylic bathtubs, where the use of plastic nozzles completely eliminates accidental electrocution due to irregularities in the pump or compressor.

For those whose aesthetic taste does not tolerate the look of plastic, the use of plastic nozzles with a metallic finish may be suitable.

Hydromassage in a Jacuzzi is carried out according to the following principle:

• A pump draws water from the tub.
• nozzles are fed with pressurised water through nozzles

Aeromassage jets are characterized by miniaturization. Through them, a compressor blows air into the bathtub. The aeromassage in the whirlpool is more of a relaxation supplement than a treatment for ailments. The combination of aero and whirlpool massage in the whirlpool allows more than 10 massage modes to be programmed.

How comfortable your hot tub is depends largely on something as small as the remote control.
