Triangular bath

The triangular bathtub is often confused with the corner one. In fact, the difference between these models is quite significant. Corner is a bathtub of any shape that has one right angle, which allows installing it at the meeting point of two walls. Such baths often have an irregular, asymmetric shape. A triangular bath is an isosceles triangle, that is, a figure that has two sides of equal length. Triangular bathtub can be easily installed in the corner of the room, along one of the walls or placed in the center of the bathroom.

Despite the fact that large-sized baths of different shapes are no longer perceived as something exotic, triangular baths have not yet gained a firm position on the Russian market. Such an unusual sanitary device is not well known to our customers. The task of this article - to correct that mistake and talk about the features of triangular baths, and about what rules should be followed when choosing and installing a "triangle".

Pros
- Since the triangular bath, installed in an ordinary apartment, and not in a hotel room or spa is still a rarity, it is sure to become a highlight of your interior. The triangular bath is still a fresh and original solution, so if you like to surprise, look closely at this model.
- As mentioned above, the triangular bathtub allows several installation options, so not only owners of huge, spacious bathrooms can afford such a sanitary device. For example, in small rooms, it is best to choose a corner option of placement - it will save a little space.

Disadvantages
- Despite the fact that the triangular bath can take up less space than large round or square-shaped baths, it is still considered a large-sized object, so in cramped bathrooms, which are available in apartments of standard layout, such a bath is unlikely to fit.
- Like any other large sanitary device, a triangular bathtub is rather difficult to wash. To do this, you often have to climb into the font with your feet and do all the cleaning work from inside.

Materials
Triangular bathtubs belong to the elite sanitary ware, so only high-quality materials are used for their manufacture. They fall into two categories: synthetic and natural.
Synthetic materials include acrylic and kvaril. Acrylic sanitary ware is the most popular. It is characterized by a good ability to retain heat, excellent noise insulation, and ease of care. Acrylic does not cause allergies, it has a pleasant to the touch, non-slip surface. In addition, acrylic baths look great, they retain their shiny white color and smooth texture for a long time.
Quarryl is a modern material, created on the basis of acrylic with the addition of quartz. Quaral baths have the same good performance characteristics as acrylic, but are more durable and long-lasting.

Natural materials that serve as raw materials for the production of sanitary ware include stone and wood. Marble baths are the choice of true aesthetes. They look great and are capable of transforming an interior with their mere presence. But the cost of a bathtub made of natural marble is quite high, so many people prefer to settle for artificial marble, which is also called cast marble.

Baths made of precious wood are also not a pleasure, so they exist in single copies. Wooden triangular baths are almost impossible to find in stores, as they are usually custom-made.

Design
Triangular bath is good because it can be very interestingly beaten up in the interior. Imagination is not limited by any design, except for the size of the room - for a triangular bath to "play" the room should still be quite spacious.
Incredibly beautiful triangular baths, equipped with solid wood or stone countertops. This is not only unusual, but also very practical solution, because on the countertop you can put towels, shampoos, put candles or a vase of flowers.
No less effective will look triangular bath of white acrylic with clear glass inserts and water lighting.

Sizes
The most popular models of triangular baths have standard dimensions of 125 by 125 cm. The depth of such a bath is usually 64 cm, and the volume is 290 liters. Small triangular baths are not too different from the usual ones: the length and width of a small triangular bath is within 100 cm. The largest models of triangular baths, which are sold in online stores of sanitary equipment, have the following parameters: length - 180 cm, width - 180 cm, depth - 78 cm, volume - 550 liters.

The shape of the bowl
Obviously, the triangular shape of the bowl is characteristic of triangular baths. However, the corners of the fonts are still rounded - it was done for comfort and aesthetics reasons. Triangular baths with a bowl of round or oval shape are less common, since such a solution significantly reduces the volume of the font. Another option is a bowl-flower, each "petal" of which is a kind of niche or seat, designed for one person. Such models of triangular baths most often have a trefoil shape.

Placement
The main advantage of the triangular bath is that there are no strict requirements for its installation. It looks equally good in the center as well as in the corner of the room. The only thing to consider when installing a triangular bath in the corner is the angle of convergence of the walls. To avoid large gaps it must be exactly 90 degrees. Therefore, if necessary, the walls will have to be even.
There are also more original ways to install triangular baths, such as installation in the podium or directly into the floor. The task is quite difficult, but the effect is worth it.

Tips
- Pay attention to additional functions of triangular baths. The set of options may vary, depending on the price and manufacturer of the product. It can be remote control, lighting, built-in radio, panels for whirlpool and aromatherapy, disinfection system, water level and temperature sensors, etc.
- If the triangular tub is installed in the center of the room, splashing water from the shower can wet or ruin some of your belongings. This problem can be solved by installing a transparent curtain on the edge of the bathtub.
