• Stainless steel, as well as enameled steel, has a high thermal conductivity. It heats up very quickly, but it cools down just as quickly.
• Products made of any steel are characterized by an almost total lack of sound insulation. Therefore, steel baths become a constant cause of dissatisfaction of the neighbors - the sound of pouring water is so loud that it comes through several floors. This defect does not apply to all models, modern and expensive elite baths have a sound-absorbing layer inside and deprived of this drawback.

• Provide additional heat and sound insulation. These drawbacks will be the easiest to defeat. We will need one can of foam and rubber gloves. • It is best to buy a stainless steel bath directly in the store, because only there you will be able to see with your own eyes the quality and reliability of the chosen product.
• When buying always pay attention to the thickness of the steel sheet: it should not be less than 0.3 cm, and it is even better if the product will be 0.4 cm or thicker.
• To make sure that the stainless steel bathtub will not deform during use, test it in the store. Climb into the chosen model and check whether it sags under the weight of your body? It is better if the biggest member of your family will try the bathtub on.

Stainless steel bathtub is pretty unpretentious in care, but still, it requires more attention than a similar product made of structural steel. Stainless steel is not afraid of mechanical damage and corrosion, but it often forms lime scale, and the surface of the font over time dulls.

To avoid these troubles, you need to get rid of traces of water stains in time. After each use, the tub should be wiped dry with a clean, soft cloth, and once a week, clean it with a special detergent for stainless steel products.
