The sizes of the bath: standard and optimal

In most standard apartments, the bathroom has relatively small dimensions. For this reason, every inch of free space should be used to maximum benefit. In the huge variety of different bathtubs is quite difficult to understand, because they all differ in size, materials used and design.

• 120x70 cm - will help to save free space, but in this model it will not be possible to take a lying position;
• 130x70 cm - the most popular model among the small-sized baths, most often made to order.

Medium size:

• 140x70 cm - a bath of this size is used for rooms with non-standard layout;
• 150x70 cm - very comfortable model, implemented in different forms.

Large size:

• 170x70 cm - suitable for rooms with a modern layout;
• 185x85 cm is the most comfortable model, which should only be used in spacious rooms.

Nowadays, bathtubs are made of different materials: cast iron, steel, acrylic and many others.

Cast iron bathtubs are sold in a variety of sizes. Dimensions range from 120x70 cm to 185x85 cm. A number of manufacturers make baths made of cast iron on special orders. The most economical option would be a bath made of steel. Such models have a relatively light weight - up to 30 kilograms. Also steel baths have thin walls, the thickness of which does not exceed 3 mm.

Acrylic baths have been on the market recently, but they have already managed to attract the attention of many buyers by their positive aspects. Quaral baths stand out among other models for their high durability. In addition, this kind is distinguished by a special surface that remains clean for a long time. Such baths have dimensions similar to acrylic models.

Bathtubs with non-standard shapes are especially popular. There are round, triangular and other models on the market. Thanks to numerous design solutions, such designs become exclusive.

The most convenient design development are triangular baths, which significantly save space. The optimal depth of such a model is in the range 48-65 cm. The length of the sides is 150-180 cm. The volume of the triangular model is capable of reaching 400 liters.

Performed in the form of a circle model reaches sizes from 140 to 200 cm in diameter. However, this kind of baths are often made to order and have non-standard sizes.

Vertical bathtubs are also common on the market. These models are most suitable for those who do not have the physical ability to take a bath in the supine position. Most of the vertical models are made to order. The height of such structures reaches a mark of 2 m, and the width depends on the complexion of the person and, as a rule, does not exceed 1 m.

Recently, many manufacturers are trying to draw attention to their products with unusual bathtubs.

For example, wooden models made of a solid piece of oak have become very popular. The size of these unusual models is completely individual, because they are made exclusively according to customer orders. Oak baths are rapidly gaining popularity, because the material has health properties, and the bath itself gives the interior a unique style.

Among the original models are also found bathtubs in the form of a large basin or bowl, made of colored glass. Models with illumination look no less interesting. A huge range allows you to choose a model for the most demanding tastes.
