Quarile is the newest material that is used to produce bathtubs and shower trays. It is a synthetic compound of acrylic and quartz. The structure of the compound is as follows: a particle of quartz is enclosed in a round acrylic shell, and the space between these granules is filled with acrylic and additional impurities. Quartz in the composition of the compound is needed to provide greater rigidity and durability of the final product, acrylic adds elasticity, and the additional impurities are responsible for the color and texture of the product.

The technology of making quaternary was invented and patented in Europe by the German company Villeroy&Boch several years ago. Initially, quaril was used for restoring old acrylic baths that had lost their appearance. Subsequently, it turned out to be superior to acrylic in many characteristics. Quaternary baths are cast in special molds. The product is so rigid that it does not need additional reinforcement. Quaternary bath has not only taken all the advantages of its predecessor - acrylic bath, but also got rid of many of its shortcomings.

Pros:

However, it has disadvantages, which are much less than the pros:

• The first and most significant disadvantage of such baths - it's a high price. It will cost you much cheaper than, for example, a bath of natural stone, but on average it is several times more expensive than cast-iron, steel or acrylic baths.
• Despite the fact that kvaril baths can boast a greater variety of shapes and sizes than their predecessors, they are still made by casting in prefabricated forms. Therefore, the choice of forms is still limited.
• Today only bathtubs and shower trays are made of kvaril, so quaternary bathtub is in some ways a unique product. Sometimes it is not easy to find an ensemble of matching style and color of the sink and toilet bowl.
• The strength of kvaril is higher than that of acrylic, but less than that of steel and cast iron. Consequently, the possibility of scratching the surface of a kvaril bathtub still exists. This disadvantage is not particularly significant, since the surface of a kvaril bathtub can be easily restored at home with a special paste.
• Despite the fact that the care of a kvaril bathtub is unpretentious, you should avoid the use of aggressive cleaning agents, which contain abrasive substances, as they can damage its surface.

Prices for kvaril baths range from 50 to 100 thousand rubles. The amount of money is really not small, but considering its excellent characteristics, if you buy a kvaril bath, you are unlikely to regret the money you spent.

Keeping a quarite bath clean will not be difficult even for the laziest hostess. Once or twice a week it is enough to wash it with any suitable cleaner, but not with abrasive or soap and a soft cloth.

The surface of such a bath is not prone to cracking, so there is no need to rub it with a stiff brush in order to get rid of accumulated dirt there. Of course, as a result of strong physical impact, cracks or chips may still appear, but no need to worry.
