This includes hiding the water and sewage system from human eyes, which, in fact, will spoil the whole view of the bathroom. Having a screen easily solves this problem and is the final step on the way to forming a cozy bathroom.

The interesting thing is that when you walk into the bathroom, it is the screen that catches your eye initially. Tiled, it is the centerpiece of the room. With the right and interesting choice of color and texture screen causes admiration, creates a cozy atmosphere, emphasizes individuality.

• Deaf screen. It does not provide an opportunity to look under the bath. This is a capital, one-piece construction, which does not have a door. Visually, such a screen is good, but in terms of functionality, it has one big nuance: the impossibility of repairing the sewage system. Indeed, in the case of a leak or any other failure, it is impossible to get to the place where it occurred. You have to smash the screen to get inside. And the most unpleasant thing is that the breakdown can not be seen immediately. Water leakage will have time to spoil the interior of the bathroom and not only. The ceiling of the neighbors living downstairs will also be damaged. You will not only have to pay for repairs in your own apartment, but also to compensate your neighbors.
• Partially open. This kind of screen is quite functional and safe. Shelves and niches, where you can put detergents or anything else, will be a rational solution for a small bathroom. The presence of the door provides easy access to the water supply and drainage system.
• Sliding. You can also create such a screen, but the process will be very complicated. All the more, the tile - the material is not quite suitable for it.
• Screen with a slope. A slight slope forms a niche in the screen, where you can put the detergents. This type of screen is ideal in families with small children. It will be very convenient to bathe the baby.

Tile, along with plasterboard, is the most common material that performs the cladding function. Quite often they are combined with each other: the construction is made of plasterboard, and the facing is tile.

To make the screen you need to buy moisture-resistant gypsum board sheets, profiles made of metal, fasteners, the necessary tools for the work, ceramic tiles.

It is possible to manufacture and mount the screen by yourself. Especially since the design is not a complex combination of elements.

The work begins with the fact that the appropriate measurements are made. They are all carried out with the help of a level. Next, it should be determined how much consumable material will be needed for the future construction.

The next step is to make the frame. It can be made of both wood and metal. Initially, the floor and walls are marked. Be sure to take into account the fact that the tiles should not protrude. It is as if slightly immersed in the bathtub.

Vertically drawn lines on the walls are connected to the markings on the floor.

Next, we work with the rail (PP27x28). It is used to make a frame that is shaped like a window frame of three sections. It is screwed to the walls and floor with self-tapping screws. They also help to attach the plasterboard to the frame.

Once the frame is ready and installed, we proceed to the process of tiling. The selected tiles can be attached with liquid nails. Intertile joints are grouted with a special compound.

• The frame should be attached at the closest distance to the outer edge.
• Before proceeding to the process of cladding, plasterboard must be primed. Especially pay attention to the joints. It is advisable to primer twice.
• The optimal location of the door or hatch is in the middle of the screen.
• To create a screen for a standard-sized bath, you will need only one sheet of plasterboard (180cm x 50cm).
