Errors and malfunctions of washing machines Atlant

Although Atlant washing machines belong to the budget technique, they are often chosen for their affordability, good washing quality and extensive functionality. Another plus of the machines of this manufacturer can be called the presence of a self-diagnostic system. According to the code on the display or blinking of certain indicators, the owner of the Atlant machine can determine in which node a malfunction has occurred and how to proceed in case of a breakdown.

Adjust the powder dosage or choose a different brand.

Carefully select the program for the specific type of fabric.

Sel

None of the four indicator LEDs are lit

There is a problem with the interface module

The selector, which controls the program selection, is broken.

Check Selector malfunction and check controller. Replace the interface module.

F2

LED3 is illuminated.

There is a problem with the temperature sensor.

Sensor itself is defective or the electrics connected to it are damaged.

Control module malfunction.

After checking the operation of the temperature sensor and the integrity of its wiring, replace the sensor and also check the control module, and replace it if it is defective.

F3

Indicators 3 and 4 are illuminated

There is a problem with the heater.

The heating element is broken, or there is damage in the associated wiring.

The control module is malfunctioning.

After assessing the integrity of the electric circuits of the heating element and its operability, replace the defective elements. If the control module is defective, replace it with a new one.

F4

Indicator diode 2 is on

The problem with drainage

Pump stops working.

Drain assembly is obstructed (hose is pinched, improperly installed, or clogged).

Foreign object has entered pump.

Control module malfunctioned or there are problems with its electrical circuits.

Check whether the drain pump is working (replace it if it is damaged) and whether the drain system is clogged. If necessary, clean the filter, remove a foreign object from the pump, straighten or reattach the hose.

Examine the control module and its wires.

F5

Indicator diodes 2 and 4 are lit

There is a problem with the water intake into the machine

There is no water in the pipes or the water pressure is too low.

Failure of the priming system (hose is pinched, improperly installed, or clogged).

Fill valve is out of order.

Open circuit between fill valve and control module.

Control module malfunctioned.

Make sure that the valve is not closed and water pressure is normal.

Evaluate the permeability of the flooding system and, depending on the situation, connect the hose correctly, remove the blockage, clean the filter.

Use a tester to find a break in the wiring associated with the fill valve, and check the valve contacts.

If necessary, the valve should be replaced.

Check the control module and, if necessary, replace it with a new one.

F6

Indicator LEDs 2 and 3 are illuminated

The problem with the reversing relay

Relay stopped working due to overheated coil, contacts disconnected or broken.

Check the relay and if necessary replace it with a new one.

Check reversing relay and motor.

F7

Indicators 2, 3 and 4 are on

Problem with the power supply

The mains parameters are not suitable for the operation of the machine.

Noise filter has failed.

The control module is malfunctioning.

Use a tester to assess the mains parameters and correct them.

Check the interference filter and, if defective, replace it.

Check the control module and replace it, if necessary.

F8

Indicator diode 1 is on

Indicator diode 1 illuminates Trouble filling the tank.

Tank sealing has been compromised.

Inlet valve is jammed in open state.

Pressostat is out of order.

Problem with contacts or electrical circuits in pressostat.

Control module malfunctioned.

Make sure the cylinder is tight and the inlet valve is functional.

Check operation of pressostat and condition of its wiring.

Check control module and replace if necessary.

F9

Indicator diodes 1 and 4 are on

Tachogenerator problem

Tachogenerator or motor is broken.

There are problems with wiring or motor contacts.

Control module malfunction.

Evaluate the tachogenerator and then the motor, then check the wiring to the control module.

Check the control module and if necessary replace it with a new one.

F10

LED's 1 and 3 are illuminated

The problem with the sunroof lock

The electronic sunroof lock is out of order or its electrical circuits are broken.

The control module is malfunctioning.

Evaluate the function of the electronic hatch lock and check the associated wiring.

Check the control module and, if necessary, replace it with a new one.

F12

Indicator diodes 1 and 2 are lit

Indicator diodes 1 and 2 light up Indicator diodes 2 light up Problem with the motor

Motor is defective, there is an open circuit in the winding or contacts are faulty

Control module malfunctioned.

Evaluate the condition of the motor and its winding. If the motor is found to be inoperative, it should be replaced.

It is also important to check the control module and, if necessary, replace it with a new one.

F13

Indicators 1, 2, and 4 are on

Miscellaneous malfunctions

Electric circuits or contacts damaged.

Control module malfunctioned.

Check wiring and main components of the machine. Replace any defective parts with new ones.

The integrity of the elements of the drainage system is disturbed.

Make sure that the tank is intact and the manhole seal is not damaged. If they are damaged, replace them.

Check the tightness of all units responsible for water drainage. Replace damaged fittings and hoses with intact ones.

Frequent faults

The owners of Atlant machines most often turn to the masters for repair with the following problems:

  • Getting a foreign object inside the tank.
  • Failure of the heater.
  • Wear of the bearings.
  • Breakdown of the drain pump.
  • Failure of the hatch lock.
  • Failure of the control module.

The process of bearing replacement in Atlant washing machine is presented in the video of "Hand Made" channel.

Tips and prevention of breakages

  • Before you clean the washing machine both outside and any of its parts inside, the machine must necessarily be disconnected from the power grid. You should also turn off the faucet through which water is supplied to the machine.
  • Wipe the door seal after each wash, using a soft dry cloth. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the outside of the appliance and other plastic parts. Do not soak the cloth in alcohol, abrasives or other chemical compounds that could damage the appliance.
  • Periodically wash the container through which detergents enter the machine. Take it out, rinse all surfaces under the tap and return it to its place.
  • Once a year, clean the filters in the water system. To do this, disconnect the fill hose, remove the filter, remove any debris from it, then put the parts back in place and make sure their connections are tight.
  • Clean the pump filter twice a year, removing threads, buttons, coins and other tiny objects. In addition, it is recommended to clean this filter after washing things with lint. After draining the water, open the filter cover with a pointed object, pull out the hose as far as it will go, remove the plug and drain the water, then remove the filter, rinse it and return all parts to the machine in reverse order.

Simple preventive measures, shown in the Ukrainian program "Everything will do good" will increase the life of your washing machine.
