Cleaning the bathroom

Cleanliness is the key to health, isn't it? It's especially true in the bathroom, because various bacteria like to accumulate on the bathtub, sink and other surfaces. The bathroom is one of those places where it is much more difficult to keep clean than in other rooms. There are procedures that need to be done daily in the bathroom, and that's the difficulty of cleaning. But at the same time, you will enjoy being in a bathroom where everything sparkles with cleanliness. If you don't clean with a certain frequency, you will soon be visited not only by pathogenic bacteria, but also by unfriendly insects that are unlikely to make anyone happy.

Peculiarities of cleaning
Regular cleaning in the bathroom is due to the fact that the dirty room becomes a breeding ground for dangerous microbes and looks quite unpresentable.
The peculiarities of cleaning in the bathroom include:
- daily procedures: cleaning the toilet bowl, sink and drains. This will save time in the future, because it is easier to spend 10 minutes a day for a little cleaning, than to kill a few hours at the weekend to scrub the surfaces;
- purchase of toilet blocks. Each time you flush the water, the contents of the blocks will neutralize harmful bacteria;
- daily disinfection of the rim and lid of the toilet bowl;
- Cleaning the sink and bathtub drains. For harmful germs, drains are just heaven, so at least once every couple of days, clean them with special products;
- Using the bathtub for its intended purpose. It is better to flush the water into the toilet after washing the floors;
- regular cleaning of pipes. It is recommended to do this procedure routinely at least once a month. A large amount of hair and debris accumulates in the drain channel, which can be got rid of with the help of pipe cleaners.
It is necessary to purchase several detergents:
- for disinfecting surfaces,
- for limescale,
- for cleaning glass and mirrors,
- for cleaning tiles;

Recommended schedule
Daily
Take at least 10-15 minutes a day to keep your bathroom clean and tidy:
- Put things in order: put all the bottles and sponges in their places. Get rid of the empty containers, hang up the towels. You have no idea how much tidier your bathroom can help you save time in a hurry, especially if you're in a hurry. Everything you need will be at your fingertips at once.
- Wet-clean your floor, walls, and fixtures regularly. Pick up separate detergents for everything. For example, liquid cleaning solutions are ideal for bathtubs, because crystalline powders cause scratches. Even soap would be good for everyday cleaning. But you can't use toilet detergent to clean the bathtub. The point is the difference in surfaces. What cleans the toilet bowl well, easily will corrode the surface of the bathtub.
- Rinse the tub immediately after you take it. This will save you from having to clean soap and shower gel streaks from the surface of the tub.
- Do not be lazy to pull out the hair accumulating in the drain hole. The procedure itself is quick, but it will save you from the possibility of a clog.
- Wipe the sink and toilet rim.
- Wipe down the faucets with a special detergent. It is better not to use powders so as not to scratch the surface. Even if you simply wipe the faucet every day with a soft cloth, you will notice that much less plaque will form on its surface.
- Freshen up the room. Get electronic fresheners that are triggered at regular intervals. After a while, you will notice how comfortable it will feel to be in the bathroom.

Weekly .
Once a week, do the following steps to keep the bathroom clean:
- Clean the tiles with specially formulated detergents. To make the tiles shine like new, you can wash them with a solution of chalk in water. Wipe the tiles dry, or the hardened drops will negate all your work. We recommend washing from the bottom up and rinsing from the top down. - Thoroughly clean the inter-tile joints. To do this, you can use a self-made solution of baking soda and bleach. It is applied to the seams and stays there until the final hardening. Then rinse it off with running water and a brush.
- Clean the toilet bowl. Thoroughly rinse the place under the rim, where they like to accumulate bacteria. Apply the cleaner to the surface and leave it there for a while. Then rinse with water and a toilet brush.
- Once a week, be sure to clean the glass and all mirror surfaces. You can use standard glass and mirror cleaners or you can use folk remedies such as a mixture of tooth powder and ammonia.
- If you have a shower stall in your bathroom, clean the glass in it with a stiff brush and soapy water. This method will help clean even stubborn streaks and dirt.
- Wash the bathroom and toilet floors well with a disinfectant solution. Use separate rags and brushes to clean these areas.

Monthly
Pipe maintenance does not require daily or weekly activities, but once a month you should steadily perform some procedures:
- The high humidity can cause pipes to oxidize and rust. It is recommended to remove rust stains with the help of special products. You can apply them strictly once a month, as they contain alkalis unfavorable for enamel.
- Pour an alkaline solution into the drainage holes of the pipes to remove clogs. You will get rid of bad odor, hair and other debris. You will immediately notice how much faster the water will go away. Be careful when using these products, as they should not get on the skin.

General
Once a month, or at intervals you set, it's a good idea to give your bathroom a general cleaning.
- Remove the shower curtain. Soak it in a soapy solution or bleach. This will help remove stains and smudges from it.
- Collect all bottles of shampoos, gels, etc., as well as other containers, sponges, brushes, and so on, into a separate basin.
- Remove the rubber mat. It is recommended that it be washed or soaked during general cleaning.
- Apply a special detergent to the bathtub and sink and leave it for a certain amount of time.
- Apply a detergent to the inside of the toilet bowl and you can wash the outside of it with a bathtub solution. Also leave the detergent for a certain period of time.
- Wash all mirrors and glass shelves (see above for how to do this).
- Use a sponge or an old washcloth to remove detergent from the bathtub and sink.
- Clean the inside of the toilet with a toilet brush and rinse off the detergent. Wipe the outside of the toilet bowl dry.
- Wash the floors with a sanitizing solution.
- Rinse and hang the curtain.

I clean the bathroom once a week, and my friend almost every day due to the fact that she has a child. Recently I listened to Doctor Komarovsky: his words, that too much cleanliness leads to viznoknoveniyu allergic reactions. It is not necessary to raise a child in greenhouse conditions, he still needs to go out.
