Modern columns are economical, safe and high-performance. The advantage of a semi-turbine device is a lower price (it is almost half the price of turbine models).
• Turbine column. Such a device is completely independent of the ventilation system in the house. This equipment not only removes the products of combustion from the apartment, but also takes the air needed for the functioning of the burner from the street.

In turbine models there is a double-circuit chimney, which is also called coaxial. In its structure, it is a pipe inside the pipe. Smoke is exhausted on the inside, and through the gap between the pipes a stream of air from the street enters the room. This allowed the heater to be equipped with a closed combustion chamber that does not require air from the room, thus increasing the overall safety of using the heater.

• When buying a turbo heater, first determine the location in which you want to install the heater. This way you will calculate the availability and cost of the installation work.
• When selecting the right heater, first pay attention to its capacity, since the output of hot water depends on this indicator. Determine whether you need a simultaneous flow of warm water from 2-3 sources, because in this case, the purchased device must be of higher capacity.
• The next important indicator is the type of ignition of the device. It can be represented by piezor ignition (the igniter inside the speaker will constantly burn) or electric ignition (a more economical option, because the igniter will light up only when you turn on the device). There are also models in which the ignition is from a hydro generator.
• Pay attention to the control of the heater. In many models, the temperature control is done manually, but there are also units with automatic control.
• Pay attention to security of the purchased model. You should be sure that in case of overheating, changes in water pressure or burner fading, the speaker will not cause health and life problems.
• Deciding on the manufacturer, ask about the availability and cost of spare parts.

Connecting the turbocharger should be handled by specialists. Your own hands can only connect the device to the water supply. You can also independently take out the chimney, making a hole in the wall. Installation of the pipe should be carried out hermetically, so it is important to pay attention to its insulation and to use couplings and adapters.

• Termet Aquacomfort Turbo G19-03. This is an inexpensive semi-turbo model from the popular Polish manufacturer. The speaker uses an electric ignition, the power of the device is 19.2 kW. In a minute in such a device heats 11 liters of water. The model can also operate on liquefied gas.
• BOSCH Therm 8000 S WTD 27 AME. This is a very expensive speaker from a well-known German manufacturer. Its advantages are called the excellent quality and high reliability of the device. In a minute in such equipment, up to 27 liters of water is heated, and the capacity of the device - 45 kW. The model is often purchased for heating water for bars, restaurants and other large institutions.

Those who have chosen a turbine speaker for their home, almost always remain satisfied with such equipment. The main advantage of the device they call the absence of a chimney and any problems associated with the removal of combustion products of gas. Of the disadvantages, users note the rather noisy operation, as well as the need to connect such equipment to the network.
