It is in danger of deformation. If you still decide to buy a rod made of this material, the ideal option is a high-strength polymer. It is much higher quality than the usual plastic, durable and reliable. The plus side of the design is that it is silent. The curtain will move softly and quietly.

Metal. The material is very interesting. The choice is the richest: from brushed aluminum to shiny stainless steel. The price is higher than the previous material. If the curtain is equipped with metal rings, the movement of metal against metal is quite loud. Rings made of plastic are not very durable. The right solution is to choose aluminum rings coated with plastic.

Chrome. The bar made of chrome is strong and incredibly beautiful. It can resemble gold, silver or bronze.

Wood. The product will look very beautiful, but will not last long.

Quite often the manufacturer offers combined models. In this case, the metal base of the rod is covered with another material (plastic, enamel).

The main thing to be guided by, choosing a rod - it is the shape of the bath. If you are the owner of a non-standard shape bathtub, you will have to order the rod individually.

Equally important is the size of the room itself.

The rod should be in the same style as the interior of the bathroom. Stainless steel rod is suitable for the style of high-tech, and in the classical style will perfectly fit the bronze color.

• Before proceeding to the installation of the product, you should stock up on the necessary tools: a screwdriver (in its absence, a Phillips screwdriver will do), a knife, a tile drill, a drill, a pencil.
• Initially, the construction is assembled. There is nothing complicated about it, as the instructions explain everything in detail.
• Next, we take a pencil and mark at what height should be our curtain rod. When measuring, be sure to take into account the fact that the curtain is located below the edge of the bath for 20 cm. This prevents water from getting on the floor.
• Drill holes for the dowels. The depth of the holes is 4.5 cm, dowels - 4 cm. Bracket fasten with self-tapping screws to the walls of the room.
• If the shape of the rod L-shaped, then in addition it must be fixed either to the floor or to the wall.
• The telescopic boom is easy to install. It extends to the desired length, fix and fasten with an internal spring. If the rod is semicircular, you need suction cups that will firmly fix it, otherwise it will sag.
• It remains only to attach the curtain with the help of clamps.
