All about the baths of Minibirch

Mini-bar baths - a simple and convenient opportunity to erect a neat structure on the plot in a short period of time, not even creating unnecessary construction waste. Moreover, such a structure made of solid treated wood does not even require additional finishing.

Features

For the construction of a mini-bar bathhouse, as a rule, pairs of parallel beams with a thermal lining between them are used. The thickness of the parts used ranges from 44 to 75 millimeters, and the length does not go beyond 2-6 meters. The thickness of the insulation filling the space between the walls ranges from 100 to 150 millimeters. Depending on the layer is determined by the thickness of the walls themselves. Single miniboard, in principle, for the bath can be used, but only with additional insulation using mineral wool or ecowool.

Minibirch construction has many advantages. Based on the size of the planned building manufacturers themselves make all the calculations and prepare ready-made sets of materials. Boards delivered to the buyer, immediately treated with special solutions that protect against pests and prevent rotting wood. Since all the parts are sawn to size and even numbered, it takes a couple of days to assemble the structure. If necessary, the manufacturer even assembles the individual parts of the bath by himself and brings them to the site ready, after which all that is left is to dock them.

Types of material

In general, three varieties of material are used for the construction of buildings with minibars. Single beam is most often used for gazebos and "cold" verandas, as well as children's houses, carports and sheds. In principle, it can be used for seasonal cottage. This variety is durable, but not warm enough. Baths are most often erected from double beams. This configuration is also used for warm verandas, farm buildings and similar structures.

Triple beam is used only in regions where low temperatures and difficult climatic conditions prevail. The variety of mini-block is chosen depending on the specifics of the project and, as banal as it may be, the available funds.

Also take into account the peculiarities of the climate, as well as the planned method of heating the house.

Tips for construction

Prefabricated baths from minibars have a low weight, and therefore do not require a massive and expensive foundation. In principle, it can be both monolithic and pole, pile or strip construction. All the technological operations required for the minibars are carried out by the manufacturer in the factory, so your own hands will only have to assemble the structure according to a simple scheme. First, a strapping frame is mounted on the foundation, and then the starting belt, already made of minibars, is fixed with self-tapping screws. All other parts are "pinned" to each other, like a construction set, without cutting or fitting.

This structure is insulated with a material that does not interfere with the movement of air. For thermal insulation in this way foam glass, vermiculite, mineral wool and polystyrene foam balls are suitable. However, the best solution is still considered to be the use of ecowool, which prevents the formation of condensation between the beams.

Finishing the finished bath is not required, but the structure can be painted.

Finished examples

Prefabricated mini-bar bath is now available in any sizes and configurations. Moreover, it does not have to be a small and boring structure - it can be a spacious and modern-looking construction with an open veranda. Details made of natural materials are connected by means of "tongue and groove" technology. This method eliminates the need to use chemical adhesives, and thus provides a healthy atmosphere inside the room. Bathrooms are equipped with metal-plastic windows.

By the way, it is not necessary to leave the building in its natural color scheme. The minibirch bath looks fresh and original, painted in a noble gray shade and decorated with bright orange details. The construction with a spacious porch, on which in the summer time you can easily organize a recreation area, looks very European.
