According to the principle of action, hard corner curtains are divided into three main types:
- The most popular models - sliding, arranged like a closet, when one or two panels, and sometimes all move on rollers. The design is compact and appropriate in almost any bathroom, but its most vulnerable place is the rollers, to their quality you need to pay close attention.
- The second most common - hinged, when the curtains open simultaneously in both directions or in one of them. They are reliable, easy to install, tight, if the rubber seal between the bathtub rim and the bottom of the door closes the gap tightly. They require extra space in the bathroom.
- Curtains, folding according to the principle of accordion, as well as sliding, do not need space, in the folded form takes up very little space, but you need to choose high-quality models, as inexpensive analogues quickly fall into disrepair.
The number of flaps of any model can vary from two to six, but the optimal is no more than three. Reliable frames are made of aluminum and stainless steel.
Design
A creative approach to the design of hard curtains, especially glass curtains, allows you to create an interior from luxurious classic style to laconic minimalism. This can be achieved by combining different surfaces: smooth, matte, fluted. It is possible to repeat patterns and ornaments of tiles on the walls, the combination of transparent and colored materials in the design.
